Wensleydale

Posted March 31st, 2011 in Sell Sheets by admin

Wensleydale is the perfect cheese to eat with fruit. Creamy with an open texture, Wensleydale is one of the oldest cheeses in England as Monks were first known to be making Wensleydale in the 11th century. Wensleydale has a natural sweet acidity that compliments fruit, best of all cranberries. We take plump cranberries and add them into the cheese to create a great, sweet and juicy cheese. We lock this flavour in using a distinct burgundy wax. Somerdale Wensleydale with Cranberry is free of artificial sweeteners and made with only natural ingredients.

Rich, smooth and velvety, Somerdale Butter is fantastic to cook with or simply on a slice of freshly baked bread.
